Stanley V. Schwartz, MD, FAAD

Dr. Schwartz grew up in New York where he was born in Buffalo and later moved to the Bronx and then Westchester County. He graduated from the University of Colorado with a double major in Molecular biology and Biochemistry and did cancer research at M.I.T. during the summer. He attended Albany Medical College in Albany, New York where he completed his medical degree with Cum Laude honors. While at Albany Med he was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha which honors the top students in the class. He did his internship in internal medicine at Montefiore Hospital and Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Bronx, New York.

Dr. Schwartz completed his residency at the University of Miami Department of Dermatology and Cutaneous Surgery. While there he served as chief dermatology resident at the Miami Veterans hospital and Jackson memorial hospital.

Dr. Schwartz has been with Associates In Dermatology since 1987, bringing a high level of skin care and skin cancer diagnosis and treatment. His professional interests include the early diagnosis of melanoma, the treatment of skin cancer and dermatologic problems caused by dangerous marine organisms as well as general medical and surgical dermatology. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Dermatology, a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, and a member the Florida Society of Dermatology and Dermatologic Surgery.

Dr. Schwartz enjoys fishing, skiing, hiking, traveling, photography and spending time with his family.
