Dr. Stephanie Gardner grew up in Georgia and attended Emory College (B.S. Biology), Emory University School of Medicine (M.D.), completed a Transitional Internship (License to practice medicine in Georgia) and Internal Medicine Residency at Georgia Baptist Medical Center, Atlanta. She earned a second residency in Dermatology at Emory University School of Medicine, where she served as Chief Resident 1990-1991. She has done dermatologic research, written numerous scholarly articles, book chapters and lectured nationally.
Dr. Gardner has been in private practice in Atlanta since 1991, specializing in medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. She worked with a facial plastic surgeon for eight years, where she fine-tuned her neurotoxin and dermal filler injectable skills, performed liposuction, did laser treatments and chemical peels. She is recognized as a Master Cosmetic Injector. Dr. Gardner volunteers to train medical students and residents and has seen thousands of patients in charitable skin cancer screenings and homeless shelters. She is a Medical Reviewer for Web MD. Dr. Gardner is Board Certified by the American Board of Dermatology and is an active member of the American Academy of Dermatology, American Society for Dermatologic Surgeons, Women’s Dermatologic Society, and Florida Medical Association.
Dr. Gardner enjoys travel, golf, exercising, reading, and keeping up with her family.
